Years before, the gaming crash

Atari and Intellivision, at war

Final result, videos games falling

The gaming industry, a failure

So it came to pass

Warehouses overstocked with games

With record debts, Atari is obsolete and bankrupt

Games are ordered

removed

crushed

buried in the desert

Years later, an alien race

They sought, and discovered

The games, fixed and recovered

They played, for hours straight

Throughout outer space

All culture made in its image

All technology called for revision

[left speaker] Atari, a phoenix from the ashes

[and]

[right speaker] Atari, reborn at last

[vocals through synthesizer]

Findings—Artifacts

Technology—Hi Tech

Mission—Completed

Final Analysis—Earth: Coolest Planet

[symphonic instruments]

They voted Earth to be the best planet

Until the discovery of 16-bit systems

And worshipped Earth as gods

But that is another story
